Loot rules
Every drop on a monster's page says which bag it goes to.
- Shared bag: one roll per kill. The bag is public: whoever reaches it first takes it.
- Own bag: the drop is rolled separately for every player who did at least the listed share of the damage, and lands in a bag only that player sees. Soulbound items and everything that comes in a better bag (see below) always drop this way, so groups never race for the good bags.
- Guaranteed: some drops have a minimum. When the rolls fall short, the missing ones are added anyway (to the players who did the most damage, for an own-bag drop).
- Potions on kill: every player who hurt a quest-type boss gets a Health and a Magic potion into their potion slots; other monsters give each one a small chance of either.
- Quest kills: the monster your quest arrow points at also drops an item for your class (below).
- A monster that dies where nobody can walk drops its bags at the nearest reachable tile.
Bags
| Bag | Who gets it |
|---|---|
| Brown | shared; a soulbound drop or one with a damage share comes in a pink own bag |
| Purple | shared; an own bag when the drop has a damage share |
| Cyan | always an own bag |
| Blue | always an own bag |
| White | always an own bag |
A drop goes to an own bag when the table gives it a damage share, or when the item is soulbound or comes in a cyan or better bag; then it needs 2% of the damage. Read from Loot.cs.
Quest rewards
Your quest is picked from these monsters by your level and their priority. Killing it while it is your quest, with 2% of the damage, adds one item for your own class in a red quest bag only you can open: weapon or armor 35% each, ability 20%, ring 10%, at the tiers below (a lower tier, then another slot, when your class has nothing at that tier).
