Deadwater Docks

Level 20 Grade 8

The Deadwater Docks, the harder Pirate Cave. When Dreadstump lost his taste for piracy, Jon Bilgewater and his crew took over the smuggling between the caves and the kingdom over the sea, and when Davy Jones went down Jon crowned himself the new Pirate King. His docks are rafts and piers on Evil Water, black water that burns whoever wades in it, and his crew throw bottles of it to turn the planks under you to more of the same. A carved Heroic Observer guards the landing: it mends every wound in a moment, so it takes many heroes to break. The treasure room at the north, its door to the south, hides the way into Bilgewater's Grotto, where Jon keeps his parrots. Endgame.

Getting in

Difficulty

Grade 8 of 10 on this server's dungeon scale: the bosses have 105,000 HP counting defense, the heaviest hit is 250, the busiest phase fires up to 15 shots a second. Also: the Heroic Observer heals to full every 5 s, so the way in takes a party's damage; Evil Water burns on every side and bottles spread it; Jon hides behind his parrots, then a Massive Parrot.

How the Deadwater Docks play

The harder Pirate Cave, as it was when it first opened: Jon Bilgewater's smuggling docks. Endgame (grade 8): bring a level 20 character with real gear, and friends. The portal drops every time from the realm's Drowned Harbourmaster, the event at the sunken pier.

When Dreadstump lost his taste for piracy, Jon Bilgewater and his crew took over the smuggling between the caves and the kingdom over the sea, and when Davy Jones went down, Jon crowned himself the new Pirate King. He loves his parrots, and he mounts the biggest cannons he can steal.

Jon drops a Potion of Speed and a Potion of Dexterity for everyone who fought, gear, the Pirate King's Cutlass (a sword said to be cursed: every Pirate King seems to die rather unexpectedly) and a new tarot card, the Five of Cups.

Chance per kill. A shared bag is one roll for everyone. An own bag is rolled separately for every player who did at least that share of the damage, and only they see it: soulbound items and everything that comes in a cyan or better bag drop this way. A tier row splits its chance over every item of that tier. Loot rules
